We provide accurate monitoring of plants

The idea of a monitoring system is consequent to the need to check photovoltaic plant functionality. Often plants do not undergo periodic checks on behalf of either the client or the installers, generating consistent economical losses.

Monitoring has many advantages: the plants’ efficiency is checked on a daily basis; correct energy production is monitored by means of regular analysis of the system; comparative analysis, with equivalent systems installed in the area.

Photovoltaic Plants

SMI srl provides for accurate maintenance of the plant by installing a monitoring system that communicates with any type of inverter fitted with serial port, in order to check the following electrical quantities of the plant:

The system monitors the following electrical quantities:

■ display of regular working order;

■ data storage on dedicated server;

■ reading of inverters, string inverters, fiscal production counters and exchange meters;

■ analysis of daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and total production;

■ analysis of power, voltage and current on inverters;

■ user-friendly graphs for analyzing production, inflow and self-consumption of produced energy ;

■ UTF register entries;

■ receipt of messages reporting customers’ plant disorders (SMS or emails)

■ end of day recap of plant activities.

Hydroelectric Plants

The many advantages of monitoring photovoltaic plants can be gained by monitoring hydroelectric plants, whether or not they are built by Zanocco SMI.

The systems keeps the following electrical quantities under control:

■ display of regular working order;

■ instant production;

■ storage of data on dedicated server;

■ analysis of daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and total production;

■ user-friendly graphs for analyzing production, inflow and self-consumption of produced energy;

■ receipt of messages reporting customers’ plant disorders (SMS or emails);

■ end of day recap of plant activities.

Energy Comsuption Analylis

Energy audits are not compulsory but any dynamic, expanding company cannot overlook electric and heat usage. In-house resources must be optimized to gain incremental energy saving that will reduce costs. Installing a SMI srl surveillance system makes a commercial or industrial building’s energy usage visible in detail; i.e. compressor management check, detailed electric energy costs analysis, etc.

SMI srl surveillance system processing allows to visualize active and reactive energy, enabling phasing operation checks or evaluation of initial phasing dimensions. Production cycle, electrical and heat quantities coincidence peaks and any other key data for the analysis are reported in graphs.
